Maybe that’s as far as you want to go but you may also want to take in Port Stephens & Broughton Island.

1st Leg:- PITTWATER TO NEWCASTLE CYC approx 48NM
Maybe that’s as far as you want to go - stay approx 2/3 nights then return to Pittwater
2nd Leg:- if you want to take in Port Stephens & Broughton Island too (just another 27NM from Newcastle) then after you’ve rested up & taken in the sights of Newcastle head North.

Lonely Planet Travel guide 2011 rated Newcastle and surrounding area as 9th best place in the world to travel! Hard to believe but is a fact.
The Marina is a short walk away from the buzzing Queen's and Honeysuckle wharves.
There are plenty of Upmarket or casual eateries from Co op Fish n ‘chips to Scratchley’s
Seafood on the wharf or Honeysuckle Hotel in between.
SOME SUGGESTIONS OR DO YOUR OWN THING:
- Casual dinner at Yacht Club first night
- Walk to Nobbys Breakwall or Memorial Walk for the fit.
- Fort Scratchley Museum, free
- Meet at Starting Line of Offshore Race just off Brewery Wharf TBC, you are that close you are almost in the race.
- Casual lunch at Honeysuckle Hotel waterfront
- Newcastle Museum worth a look ,free.
Dress is casual, however, you might want to pack your favourite tie dyed T shirt and thongs for those special evenings.
- Read about Best Things to do in Newcastle in Newy for Big Kids
- You may find helpful Safely Handling Harbour Traffic booklet and marina documents and casual fees.
