The Small Yacht Cruising Club of Pittwater Inc.ABN77 833 839 556(SYCC) is a small, strong and friendly sailing club operating out of Pittwater

We are keen to foster the love of sailing in a safe, responsible and sociable manner. Our members take pride in their yachts, and enjoy swapping ideas and stories.

The club has evolved since its inception in 1975, yet the spirit of friendship and camaraderie remains despite the increased size of boats, busy waterways and hectic lives. Members mainly live in Sydney, and other areas of NSW. They have a diversity of backgrounds and sailing ability.

The common thread is a love of boating, respect for each other and others on the water and sharing fellowship.

SYCC SAILING EVENTS

We're excited to welcome everyone back to a full calendar of SYCC events!

The events listed on our website give a taste of the diverse range of activities we typically host throughout the year. From casual get-togethers to adventurous cruising, the spirit of SYCC is all about sharing experiences on and off the water.

We regularly enjoy sailing, cruising, and social events around Pittwater, Broken Bay, and beyond. Members take turns leading trips, creating a relaxed and inclusive atmosphere.

Popular outings include cruising in company to Sydney Harbour, or further afield to places like Newcastle, Port Stephens, and even the Whitsundays.

At times, members come together aboard a single yacht, gaining valuable sailing experience from the wealth of knowledge shared by our more experienced sailors.

Our local sailing events often include a fun twist, designed to boost participation and build sailing skills. Think right-of-way challenges, navigation to a destination and even a bit of night sailing under the stars.

WE ARE OPEN FOR NEW MEMBER ENQUIRIES

We welcome enquiries from new sailing and cruising friends with likeminded attitudes.
